The Lower Wisconsin State River Road was dedicated on April 27, 2009 as a Wisconsin Scenic Byway.  To visit the Lower Wisconsin River Road website, please click here.  The Lower Wisconsin River Road is a designated Wisconsin scenic byway that travels 100 miles along WIS 60 following the Wisconsin River from Lodi to Bridgeport/Prairie du Chien. At Prairie du Chien there is an intersection of the Great River Road National Byway and the Lower Wisconsin River Road state scenic byway. Enjoy the beauty of the Driftless Region and the splendor of the lower Wisconsin River Valley. Click here to go to the WI Department of Transportation website or on the link below to learn more about the program or to take a virtual tour of the route.
