Dan Hillberry was appointed as the Richland County representative to the LWSRB in June of 2022 by Governor Evers.  He earned his forestry management degree from UW-Stevens Point.  He currently serves on the board of directors for the Richland Electric Cooperative.  He also sits on the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association Board and the Grant County Deer Advisory Council. 

Dan with his wife Cheryl live on the family farm off of the Wisconsin River on Byrds Creek Family Drive in Richland County.  The farm has been in the family for almost 145 years.  They have three grown sons and two grandchildren.

When not working his full-time job, he does consulting work as a Wisconsin Cooperative Forester where he has spent many hours walking properties in the riverway with land owners and DNR foresters.
