 Ronald Leys was appointed to the LWSRB in May of 2005 by Governor James Doyle. He retired from the Milwaukee Journal as outdoor editor before becoming a beef farmer in Crawford County in 1991. He continues to write a column for the Wisconsin Outdoor Journal is author of several books about the outdoors. Leys is a self-described "enthusiastic hunter and fisherman" and is an avid canoeist. 1702 E. Parrish St.
