Robert Cary is the Grant County representative to the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway Board.  He was appointed to the position by Governor Tony Evers in June, 2023.  This is the third time that Bob has served on the Riverway Board.  As Blue River Village President in the 1980's, Bob was on the LOAC committee which helped for the Lower Wisconsin Riverway Law.

Bob is a 1972 graduate of Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in accounting.  He was employed by Richland-Grant Telephone Company for 35 years, retiring as Assistant Manager.

Bob and his wife Chris have lived in Blue River near the Wisconsin River for 47 years.  They have appreciated the beauty of the Wisconsin River and have enjoyed viewing the wildlife and birds found along the riverway.
